We offer a variety of residential services to meet individual needs and abilities, including supported living and housing with 24-hour staff.
Services are tailored to meet each individual’s needs. Some people may receive only a few hours of support each day, others may have 24-hour care. Services may be offered in a family home, private residence or a Goldenrod-owned home.
Staff provide the necessary support and training in housekeeping, hygiene, cooking, money management, community involvement, communication, leisure and relaxation, social skills, safety instruction, sexuality training, transportation, medication management and medical assistance.
Homes owned by Goldenrod are available for individuals to rent. Most live with housemates and have 24-hour staff. Individuals have their own bedrooms and may bring their own furniture.
Community Integration and Habilitation Waiver
The Community Integration and Habilitation Waiver provides funds for in-home and community services to individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability. After being awarded waiver services by the Indiana Bureau of Developmental Department Services (BDDS), the individual (or guardian) may choose to receive services while living in their own home, family home or community setting appropriate for their needs.
Family Support Waiver
The Family Supports Waiver provides limited funding to persons with developmental disabilities residing with their families, or in other settings with informal support. To receive Family Support Waiver services, the individual must be currently qualified to receive these services through the Indiana Bureau of Developmental Department Services (BDDS).
Families and individuals who do not qualify for waiver services may pay for services directly to Goldenrod. Fees for services are determined on a case-by-case basis.
