Family Services

Our family services are centered on the individual and focus on empowering each individual live their best life.

Personal Assistance and Care

Staff provide in-home support for activities of daily living including hygiene, housekeeping and cooking. Staff also support individuals with social outings and personal errands such as grocery shopping.

Community Habilitation Individual Outings

Staff provide one-on-one outings to help individuals learn about safety, social skills and accessing transportation.


These services are designed to give primary caregivers a break. It is offered to individuals who live with their family or other unpaid caregiver. Services are provided without the caregiver present and can be in the home or in the community. It cannot be used for the primary caregiver to go to work or school.
Funding Sources

Community Integration and Habilitation Waiver

The Community Integration and Habilitation Waiver provides funds for in-home and community services to individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability. After being awarded waiver services by the Indiana Bureau of Developmental Department Services (BDDS), the individual (or guardian) may choose to receive services while living in their own home, family home or community setting appropriate for their needs.

Family Support Waiver

The Family Supports Waiver provides limited funding to persons with developmental disabilities residing with their families, or in other settings with informal support. To receive Family Support Waiver services, the individual must be currently qualified to receive these services through the Indiana Bureau of Developmental Department Services (BDDS). 

Private Pay

Families and individuals who do not qualify for waiver services may pay for services directly to Goldenrod. Fees for services are determined on a case-by-case basis.
